With this transaction, emBlue consolidates its international expansion and officially enters the European market, adding over 1,200 new clients in Spain, Italy, and other countries across the continent.
emBlue, founded 10 years ago in the United States, has 70 employees and specializes in customer engagement, marketing automation, and omnichannel, with operations in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and other Latin American countries. The acquisition of MDirector represents a key step in its global expansion strategy, enabling it to add European operations, integrate new talent, and open doors to thousands of users and brands.
This cross-border transaction between Spain and the United States highlights the appeal of the European marketing automation market for American technology companies, in a context of growing demand for SaaS email marketing and automation platforms that enable personalized customer communication at scale.
For Bondo Advisors, this transaction represents its second deal in the SaaS software space, consolidating its expertise in the sale of technology platforms to international buyers.
